Emily was due the first week of October. She decided to enter the world about 3 weeks early, born September 17th.
Emily had tummy problems; she would projectile her formula. Because of that, she was very fussy. No matter what formula I tried, it was always the same. Ermine Thomas told me to mix carnation milk with sterilized water and Karo syrup to feed Emily, and it worked. After that, she was a happy baby. Didn't really like to be cuddled close. She loved her granny and grandma Doolittle.
Emily never crawled; she would roll to a chair or whatever it might be and climb on top of it; she could shimmy upstairs really fast but wouldn't come down the stairs.
She was a good big sister when her siblings came along. She had a favorite doll called Mrs.Beasley.
She didn't really like school her first year, but after that, she was happy in school.
Emily talked Early, and she would always talk for her siblings.
