What was the first place you went on vacation? What do you remember about it?

 My first vacation was after I got married, we went to Myrtle Beach.   I had never seen the ocean before, it was beautiful! I loved the sunsets and sunrises.  I loved playing in the ocean.  I have to admit i didn't go out very far.  But I did enjoy the water, not so much the sand though.

I went to Myrtle Beach.   I remembered getting a very bad sunburn.

I was 12 yrs old.  First time I ever saw the ocean, first time ever to be in salt water.  We would look for seashells and others things on the beach.  We were amazed at all the junk that they had in the gifts shops in Mrytle Beach.
