What is a memory about Easter that you have?

 Growing up I don't really remember having any thing special on Easter.  

So I will share how it was when my kids were little. We always went to my in laws house, cousins would be there to play with our kids.  We would have Easter egg hunts after church.  The kids always had a basket, sometimes with things that they needed like socks and underwear.  They had candy in their baskets which was the most exciting part of their Easter Baskets.  

Best part was just getting together with grandparents and cousins.

I remember celebrating Easter at Pappy’s and granny’s house with my 2 brothers and their families. After church we would always have a nice Easter Dinner and then hide eggs for the kids.  The little girls wore pretty dresses and the bots were in a hurry to change into play clothes. 

We would hide eggs several times.  Adults would hide the eggs the first time then the boys would hide eggs the second time for the girls to find.

Easter was always a fun family day for three generations of the Doolittle’s.
